Meadville Area Recreation Authority

This twelve member Authority with representatives from the City of Meadville, West Mead and Vernon Townships is responsible for directing the operations, management, maintenance and promotion of the Meadville Area Recreation Complex. An Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Recreation Complex and its staff. The MARC provides a wide range of activities for the area including swimming, ice skating and hockey.

Traffic Alert as of July 2010 – Traffic Signals rendered inoperable and Stop Signs erected at Chestnut and Water Streets, Chestnut and Market Streets, Chestnut and Liberty Streets, Chestnut and Grove Streets, South Main and Willow, South Main and Pine Streets, Pine and Liberty Streets, Liberty and Arch Streets, Liberty and Poplar Streets for a 60 day trial.
